Speaking Engagements

Testimonials

“Our association, the Western Association of Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA), recently hired Dr. Audrey to provide a crisis management training. Dr. Audrey was an absolute delight to work with, she was prompt, professional, and carefully listened to our requests to ensure the training she provided was timely and relevant for our financial aid community. I was impressed with her higher education specific knowledge, her wide range of university experience was on display throughout the process. During the training she was flexible and engaging, she provided meaningful content and facilitated the panel conversation seamlessly. The training was highly rated by our members, for these reasons and more I would highly recommend Dr. Audrey and look forward to the next time WASFAA can enlist her services.”

“Audrey Reille’s presentation to our leadership team delivered a clear-eyed and practical approach to managing the challenges and stressors that higher education professionals face, especially during times of telecommuting/working remotely. The strategies and reflections she shared were much appreciated as her coaching toolkit offers methods to look within so you better identify empowering perspectives to difficult situations. We were strongly encouraged to re-imagine how to arrive at successful outcomes, or navigate effectively through a time of stress (such as understanding the clear distinction between “problems” that we can do something about—and those that we don’t have a control over).

Her recommendations covered topics such as time management, maintaining employee engagement, and cultivating a positive, productive mindset—all with the end goal of making the work experience better, more rewarding, and, ultimately more liberating (less stress).

Audrey’s presentation style was professional, but also tempered with compassionate tones, personal anecdotes, and with a trusting, disarming demeanor. She offers her tools and her actionable strategies in a manner that re-ignites enthusiasm and heightens a focus on real, true solutions and self-accountability. Our team has benefited from tools and techniques she presented that can be put into practice immediately as we all look to thrive, not just survive, in academia.”

“After following Audrey Reille on LinkedIn, I asked her to lead a training for my managers on developing a leadership mindset. My team facilitates our university’s business functions, and we rarely have the opportunity to hear from speakers who have first-hand experience in higher education. The value of Dr. Reille’s higher education expertise was immediately apparent - she relayed her experiences from our customer’s point of view, which made her presentation very poignant and powerful. Dr. Reille leveraged her understanding of our role in the organization to truly connect with us. I highly recommend Audrey Reille.”

We all go to lots of conferences focused at building success in what we do.  Occasionally we hear someone speak that ignites something within us.  Dr. Reille is just that speaker.  She understands the pressure on leaders today and has developed a process to help.  Her ability to engage with her audience was enough that it caused me to go to her website and learn more about her and the topics she specializes.  I am glad I did because the motivation I gained is allowing me to focus more at work, eliminate time spent on unnecessary meetings, and build success within my team.

We face many obstacles in Higher Education, but by implementing Dr. Reille’s suggestions and learning more about how to create a better structure, we can become more efficient.  There is never enough time in the day and priorities constantly shift, but through her lecture on overcoming these obstacles, I left feeling more confident to implement a better way to move through the semesters.  I appreciate the easy way Dr. Reille engages her audience, she has a unique ability to get people excited about the everyday tasks we tend to take for granted, and the people ultimately affected by those tasks.

At an international conference, attending Audrey’s workshop on compassionate leadership really resonated with me. She combined theoretical concepts of leadership to practical application in the work place. One of the most impressive aspects of the session was information could be applied across academic disciplines and professional industries. Compassionate leadership is an effective way to engage, communicate and adapt to people and environments. Dr. Audrey Reille’s workshop emphasizes how to implement varying techniques to improve productivity, adaptability and efficiency through compassionate leadership. Highly recommend, especially for leaders and aspiring leaders in higher education.

"Dr. Audrey Reille was a featured speaker during a biannual Student Services training that I coordinate. I asked her to develop a presentation based on our theme of embracing change given that our college was implementing various new policies that were creating more work for everyone and some resentment among team members.

Dr. Reille did an excellent job and managed to address a sensitive topic head-on! She encouraged the team to look in the mirror and face its own fears and concerns regarding change. Dr. Reille gave the team 10 applicable strategies to reframe thought patterns.  Not only was her presentation great, she engaged the audience by having team members answer their own questions. For example, what are our concerns and how can we find reassurance? She guided us through this process and in the end it was a great help to an overwhelmed team. The evaluation results for her presentation were terrific and I highly recommend Dr. Reille for one of your trainings!"

I had the pleasure to work with and listen to Dr. Audrey Reille present at our ‘Learning to Lead from Vision to Practice’ annual Leadership Conference at Humber College in Toronto in June of 2018. From the beginning of our collaboration and preparation for the conference, Dr. Reille has demonstrated exemplary work ethics and commitment. In her ‘Developing the Mindset of a Leader’ training she highlighted the significance of the relationship building and the value of transforming your practice from management to leadership style. She has truly dedicated herself to understanding the role of a leader within our field, even though the field of Early Childhood Education was not her niche.  Dr. Audrey designed the presentation which supported the leaders in our community with tangible knowledge, easily transferable to their profession. The research-based strategies and personal experiences shared were relatable and have captivated the audience. It was really an honour to work with such an engaging presenter who enlightens many of us on leadership capabilities. Her warm and approachable demeanor invited attendees to feel comfortable to ask questions and share their personal experiences. I feel that any sector could benefit from Dr. Audrey’s valuable perspectives which she tailors to meet the needs of her clients.

I follow Audrey Reille’s LinkedIn and was thrilled to have her speak at a professional development opportunity at my campus. Her story and knowledge of higher education made it one of the more memorable speaking engagements I have attended, because of the many takeaway “nuggets” that I have continued to implement in my life since hearing her speak, especially this one.…  “Seek excellence not perfection.”  It was a reminder that grace is needed as much for a good leader as good employee and that if we are willing to truly grow, we much first take care of ourselves, stay connected to our passions and utilize the resources to enhance one's vision.

I had the pleasure and opportunity to meet and hear Dr. Audrey Reille at a Leadership Conference for Leaders and Administrators of child care in Toronto, Canada through City Wide Training and Humber College. Her message was compelling as she guided us through creating more of a Leadership attitude as opposed to that of a Managerial approach.

Dr. Audrey presents herself as engaging, compassionate, knowledgeable, positive and flexible. Questions from the attendees indicate her ability to meet and address appropriately the topic, concern or issue brought forth. It was evident from her responses and follow up questions that she was attentive, listening and wanting to help and share her expertise.

Regardless of the topic she is speaking to, her fun-loving spirit helps to convey the message and intent of her presentation in order that her recommendations make sense, are attainable and will make a difference. I recommend that enthusiastic consideration is placed on inviting Dr. Reille to speak at your next conference, training or meeting."

I had the pleasure of sitting in on Dr. Audrey Reille’s workshop sessions “Compassionate Leadership to Improve Communication and Effectiveness and Loyalty” and also the “Unconscious Obstacles to Effective Time Management”, at this year’s 2018 Chair Academy in Denver Colorado.  I always hope to take something with me back to the classroom or to my Chair office that I can utilize in my daily work.  Well let me tell you something, these two workshop topics sent me back to Albuquerque with lots of ideas and helpful ideas to use. The PowerPoints were precise, informative and right on target to her topics. Dr. Reille’s 1st presentation was so inspiring that I had to make it to her second presentation and even got there early so I would have a seat.  I also saw something that does not happen every day, she offered her PowerPoints up for grabs to anyone who wanted them when they returned home via email upon request….what was that? No one ever offers their hard work and material up to visitors? Well if you ever have the opportunity to see one of Dr. Audrey Reille’s workshop, stop what you are doing and attend it will be time well spent.

Audrey’s presentation was motivating and educational.  She made me conscious of the obstacles wasting my workable time, and gave valued and proven ways to strengthen my time management skills.  I have already begun using her methods in my everyday schedule.

Dr. Audrey Reille’s workshop of Compassionate Leadership brings perspective to leadership through reminding us of the 6 Human Needs Theory. This Theory is critical when there is disagreement between people. Information presented was helpful and easily understood to share.”

- Kristeen Christian, Assistant Vice President Resource Development, Valencia College

I gained a fresh perspective on leading my team….lead from the human element of compassion…..it is at the core of all of us.
